The combination sewer cleaning truck from Vac-Con has a variety of features including a hydraulically operated, front-mounted hose reel, high-capacity water pump and hydraulic boom. 

The combination cleaner offers straight vacuum capability and a combination of water and vacuum to clear sewers and catch basins. A timer shows improved cleaning efficiency from the combined use of water and vacuum. A catch basin tube vacuuming a bag of gravel demonstrates the airflow from the vacuum system. 

The truck also includes a high-pressure jet rodder hose to clean pipe while vacuuming. An articulating hose reel extends beyond the width of the vehicle to allow for positioning over offset manholes and catch basins. When finished cleaning, a fully opening, hinged rear door makes clean out easy. A deflector shield protects the door from wearing and helps in separation of solids and liquids, and aids in draining.
