The JSCs provide automatic self-priming, large solids handling and feature Thompson Pump’s exclusive Enviroprime System. This environmentally friendly system offers fully automatic priming and re-priming without blow-by, allowing the pump’s air compressor to separate air from water to keep the venturi from clogging. The air compressor supplies air to the venturi, providing powerful air suction to the chamber located at the pump inlet. This chamber empties air from the suction line causing it to fill with water, and once the line is fully primed an internal float rises in the chamber, shutting off the air suction.

Two market leaders are the 6JSCE and 8JSCE. The 6JSCE is designed for heads up to 195 feet, flows up to 2,700 gallons per minute and 3-inch solids handling, while the 8JSCE also allows for 3-inch solids handling, but provides heads up to 300 feet and flows up to 3,200 gpm.
