Inspection + Get AlertsThe Maxi-Rooter from General Pipe Cleaners combines root cutting power and big capacity in a surprisingly portable machine. Driven by a powerful 3/4 hp motor, the drum carries 125 feet of 3/4-inch cable or 150 feet of 5/8-inch cable.
With the raw driving and pulling power for long, tough jobs, the Maxi-Rooter’s power cable feed feeds 3/4-inch and 5/8-inch Flexicore cables. Without reversing the cable rotation, the operator can instantly alter feeding speed to match resistance in the line — from zero to 20 feet per minute.
The Maxi-Rooter has a surprisingly slim 23-inch profile that fits easily through narrow doorways with room to spare. The durable design features a durable aluminum alloy frame, a drum supported in front and rear for longer bearing wear, and a see-through inner drum cage to quickly determine how much cable remains.
Flexicore cable offers superior kinking resistance and unequalled strength with the right amount of flexibility. It's so tough that it carries a one-year warranty against breakage.
The Maxi-Rooter maneuvers easily on 10-inch ball-bearing, semipneumatic wheels, V-belt stair climbers for easier transport up and down stairs, and a truck loading wheel mounted on the handle to help when lifting the machine into a truck. Drum changes are easy, too. Switching from 3/4-inch to 5/8-inch cables takes less than a minute. Just loosen three knobs, swing the motor aside for more clearance, and lift off the drum.
