On Sept. 3, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Gina McCarthy announced that the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI) will provide almost $12 million to federal and state agencies to protect public health by targeting harmful algal blooms in western Lake Erie....
