The Model 800-HPR from Sewer Equipment Co. of America has been a gold standard truck jet in the sewer industry. Now, the company is announcing the next level of this standard truck jet: The model 800 Series IV.
With a host of new features and options, this truck jet has raised the bar again. The Model 800 Series IV offers many of the same great features as the current truck jet, the Model 800-HPR ECO, including fully baffled Duraprolene water tanks with capacities from 1,000 to 4,500 gallons, along with triplex or single-piston water pump offerings. It also features 190-degree hose reel rotation.
An eco-friendly operating platform runs lower rotations per minute for less fuel consumption and noise reduction, while an insulated, heated enclosure with 80,000 Btu heater houses all major water components.
Operators can easily troubleshoot and provide maintenance for the truck in the field with its simple 12-volt electrical system. The company has also eliminated the use of CANbus and computers that cause complicated startup procedures and excessive downtime related to troubleshooting.
UPDATED FEATURES
New Features on the 800 Series IV include a fully closing rear door while the hose reel is extended, providing maximum heat retention inside the enclosure where water components are stored.
Wintertime recirculation of the water system can be achieved at highway speeds to eliminate line freezing when traveling between work sites. A retractable canopy also protects the operator from sun and inclement weather. A water heater delivers hot water to the washdown reel, lateral reel and jetting circuits during cold-weather applications.
It also now features a dual-reel configuration with two hose reels in one location. The main sewer hose reel with 1-inch hose and the secondary reel allow for the addition of a televising jet pod or small-line sewer hose, giving operators the ability to perform multiple applications using only one truck.
The 800 Series IV now has multiple operator stations. All hose reel operation is located at the hose reel and a second operator station at midship for water controls.
The 800 Series IV is part of the larger 800 Series Truck Jet family from Sewer Equipment.
