Pump features

Powered by Diesel (Interim Tier 4) or natural gas, the Vaughan Chopper Storm is housed on a skid mount. The pump and engine shell is built with a 14-gauge solid galvanized shell, with additional insulating materials to help reduce equipment noise, plus interior and exterior work lights to assist visibility when the power is out.

Vaughan Company has built pumps for over 60 years, so customers can trust the equipment will deliver the necessary mechanics. The Vaughan Chopper Storm is available with automatic or manual control systems with auto start, as well as remote operation and monitoring, and includes a vacuum prime pump, priming tower and check valve. It is capable of auto throttling engine rpm in response to changing pressure, flow or pit level. The Vaughan Chopper Storm is available with a pit level transducer with float backup and a SCADA interface via MODBUS communications.
